I have spent the past decade working at the forefront of the refugee and asylum sector, supporting and delivering a range of UK Government resettlement and protection programmes, giving me a deep operational and strategic insight into the UK’s protection and integration landscape for refugees and other migrants. As a recognised resettlement and sponsorship subject matter expert, I now lead Reset Communities for Refugees as Director. As a first-generation migrant, I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to my work. I am a passionate advocate for community-led welcome, championing the idea that community is a superpower - essential to building social cohesion, generating social value, supporting long-term integration, and fostering meaningful civic and volunteer engagement.
