Judy Vickers is the Executive Officer @ Lifeshare, Manchester's Oldest Homeless Charity and has worked with the Crisis Service since 2005 managing the core operations at the service.
I became a volunteer in the 90's at Lifeline , while working as a Croupier in Manchester . Returning to University to gain a BA Hons in Social work with the sole intention of remaining in the voluntary sector to use my knowledge to be the voice of the voiceless . Developing Lifeshares MSWOP (Male Sex workers Outreach Project) in to CARDS ( Crisis , Assessment , Referral, Diversity Service ) over seeing the development of LIfeshares weekend Respite Service , Christmas and digital Services . Judy sits at a strategic level on the City Center Safety and policing meetings , Manchester's Homeless Partnership Board , Co-Chairs MHP Well- Being and Activities Working Group . Judy is instrumental in the development of Partnership working across the sector advocating for the needs of the marginalized and excluded members of our Great City .
