The ‘Meet the Mancunian’ podcast spotlighted a full season featuring 8 of the shortlisted Spirit of Manchester 2024 nominees and winners talking about their passion for their cause, the challenges they overcame and their advice for other community groups. Season 9 launched on 15 October 2024.
The Spirit of Manchester Awards are a series of awards celebrating and highlighting the excellent work being carried out in Manchester’s voluntary and community sector. Now in its 12th year, the Spirit of Manchester Awards recognises examples of great community spirit and all that's best about the voluntary sector. The Awards raise the profile of the sector amongst the general public and encourages local giving and active citizenship. The Spirit of Manchester 2024 Awards took place on Thursday, 3 October 2024 at The Sheridan and was streamed online via YouTube where viewers participated live to vote for the winner of each category.
